Hi - I've been really struggling with tooth cleaning and dressing with my son - someone suggested an app called Jam Up! made for autistic children has anyone tried it? What do you think?

How old is he?

Our toothbrushing was transformed, first of all, by us doing it slowly together, always the same systematic way, him copying what I was doing with my teeth and me gently adapting his positions.

Secondly, there are colouring tablets that will show your kids where there are bacteria/plaque remaining (pink for newer and purple for stuff that's a few days old, or vice versa). The visual reminder and feedback were stunning in helping them understand what's going on and what's supposed to happen.

Haven't tried the app though, sorry. Looked for some at the time but couldn't find any that wasn't full of other distractions, which is the last thing my kids needed.
