I'd like to send something nice to DS who is away at uni. I've done brownies before. Wondered if anyone had any nice or unusual recommendations?

Piglets Pantry do an afternoon tea box. There are various sizes and options for vegetarian etc.

Does it have to be through the letter box? I mean, could it be a package?

My friend sends her daughter a box every term with loads of random essentials in it. They call it the "Box of Life". The latest one was - soap, toothpaste, mid-range biscuits, fancy squash, tea bags, sweets, foreign chocolate, packets of seeds, a hoodie she'd seen in the charity shop.

Oh cheese box is a great idea - he loves cheese! Thank you. Any nice suppliers?

@LizardQueeny I've used Chuckling Cheese a few times! For about 15 quid you can send a gift box with various cheeses, crackers and chilli jams or chutneys that you pick and choose yourself

Betty's tearooms do nice delivery stuff.

I had those and they really were not great, I think there are much better companies available.

I know you say you have done brownies before but highly recommend simply cake co, they do brownies and cookies and they are lovely and always a hit when I send them.
