Silly question about new kitchen floor fitting

Hi all. We have somebody coming to measure the kitchen floor for new flooring.
Silly question - will I need to move the washing machine, fridge, freezer and clear out the cupboard for them to get in and measure this too, or can they do it without that?

First house and never had anything fitted before so I actually don’t know!

No need to move anything!

I doubt you'll need to move appliances. They will measure from each wall to the opposite wall to get the area, and they'll price from there.
