Nice day spa with views/lunch within an hour of South London

Someone (me) has left it very last minute to organise a couples spa day.

I'm heavily pregnant and would like a day trip with DP after we drop the toddler off at nursery. Preferably within an hour's drive of Sutton.

I'd like to do a few treatments and a massage, have lunch either there or a nice pub nearby, preferably with nice views or if not close to somewhere we could go for a walk that has nice views.

Does anyone have any recommendations? 🙏

Nutfield Priory?

This looks lovely but they're booked up for tomorrow, typical.

Did this recently - went to the Landmark in Marylebone. No views but we had a lovely Sunday roast for lunch after I had some treatments and we both used the spa.

The Porchester is my go-to.

Pennyhill Park is excellent (but expensive). It’s a shame about Nutfield.

Thank you, ended up booking this! Maternity massage for me, Swedish for DP and a lunch.

Now... What do we wear?! I have never never to a spa before 🫣

Your swimming costume.

Take a book, magazines and something to listen to.

They usually provide robes, flipflops and slippers.

Alexander House is still lovely, I went last summer. Enjoy!
