Ankle injury ds8

Ds8 has a sore ankle since Saturday, he's slightly limping, it's a bit swollen. We've done ice etc but without sitting him still with it up for a few days I'm wondering what I can do? It might be sprained... just not sure- Dr or minor injuries? Strap it up? Keep him off s hool?

I'd take him to a and e for an xray

Thanks, I was starting to think this but didn't want to over react. Will go to minor injuries as that's 5 minutes away and they can xray there too.

Could just be a sprain but best getting it checked incase it’s anything more and needs a cast.. coming from a mum who’s daughter has broken her wrist 3 times in 2 years 🙃
