Started new thread because its at a different stage now. So I wanted opinion of this picture would look ok on my dark wall. Its actually turquoise i don't know why its blue on the picture.

I love the colours. Nice that you’ve decorated your house for you and not following the usual trends. I think it would look nice and I’m intrigued what your other rooms are like

Well it’s certainly not boring!
I think it’s quite a fun print but I’d prefer it in one piece rather than the 3, I think the 3 separates makes it look a bit dated.
However as always, you decorate to your taste, I’m sure you’d walk in to my house and think it was boring as hell, we all like different things 😀

Go for it! Much more fun to be maximalist than grey everywhere IMO.

One of the comments has led me to check out the Art on sale at Argos… some nice prints the website.

The colours work well with your walls, OP. Art is very personal. The question is do you like it?

@LucyMonth OP has a very large white media unit taking up an entire wall and painted the other wall with the windows white, so the room is half white. I think she needs white on the coloured walls to bring everything together and so the room isn’t divided into a completely white triangle (with a big black TV) and a dark/bright triangle.

That's my aim o don't want to be the same as everyone else. I want happy colours 😅 the kids bedrooms are bright frog tape design.

I prefer as one as well . Maybe there is one. I'm sure I wouldn't think it was boring. As you say we are all different

I don't know i was just thinking about the white on the dark wall. And it has orange on it as well. But only a really small bit. I have screen shot loads. But im sending myself in circles.

Well I looked at the photo of your room and was quite taken by surprise at the bold strong wall colours.
Then I suddenly realised I recognised the sofa! I dont usually comment on home decor but I did comment on your thread about the sofa.
Gosh you have really transformed the room with the colour scheme.
As regards the picture. I can't say it's the type of painting I could particularly live with. I'd get bored with it.
But if you like it then I think it would fit in with the decor of the room.

Do you like the painting, OP? Because it works with your room. It has circle elements, which you were drawn to when you were looking at the wall sculpture thingamajig. It has purple and other colours that you used in your DC’s rooms so I guess you are drawn to them too. Personally, I like it as a triptych 🤷‍♀️ Add in @LucyMonth’s black and white print, and it will be very similar to one of your “inspiration” photos that you posted on your other thread 😁 It will look great!

I will get bored of it to . But I would any picture. I have about 15 screen shots of pictures that caught my eye . But that seemed to be the only one with white in it .

I think you don’t have to start all over again, just section some parts of the wall off with masking tape and paint those areas white and black

That's surprised me, I didn't think the picture would work on those walls but seeing what you've just posted works so well! Everything just kind of pulls together so I think if the OP did similar kinds of things it could also work.

@Youagain2025 I love the picture and I think it's worth trying especially if you can send it back if you don't think it works.

My house is very boring, all pastels, creams and grey, I have no idea how to pull bright colours off at all. I'm the worst interior designer ever, in my head things look nice then I put it all together and it's just meh.
