I will be phoning them later when i finish work but before I potentially make a fool of myself on the phone i thought i would ask on here in the slight chance someone else has done it..
I was with sky for my broadband for years and was happy with them but then got a contract for my phone with EE so decided to leave sky and go over to EE broadband. Still have until march 26 on contract and to get out of it now would owe £399.
Thing is it was fine for the first month then has been getting slower and slower. for example if I play a youtube video it buffers before playing, if I scroll through X all the videos buffer then play a bit then buffer again.
Also recently I tried to get on a website that we need to use for work, It used to work fine but all of a sudden has been blocked by ee so i can't access it on my phone or mac, i really need access for work, no idea why its been blocked as its not a dodgy site, contacted ee for them to tell me it is blocked but they don't know why etc.
planning on putting half away this month and then paying the rest off to get out of the contract, but..
Question..
Could i sign up to sky boradband now then just unplug the ee router and pay the contract off next month? so in theory i would be paying two broadband contacts for the same address but it would only be until the end of next month then one would be cancelled and paid off?
