Has anyone else had this before? I had a UTI in the last couple of weeks. Tried to ride it by drinking more water but it got too painful, so I got a 3 day course of antibiotics which I finished last week. The pain seemed to go around the time of the last dose but I've been left with quite an uncomfortable feeling - like my bladder isn't quite empty, and the frequency and urgency is still there.
Could it be normal residual irritation from the infection, or is it more likely that the infection is still lingering? I've put in a request with the GP but have found approaches to treating UTIs can be a bit hit and miss! I'm also potentially in the very early stages of pregnancy so want to nip it in the bud in the most straightforward way. Thanks for any thoughts!
