How’s Your Sunday Shaping Up?

Following on from lucysmam with the morning thread, thought I’d do one later in the day. I ended up not going to the craft fair but had a mooch round the children’s hospice charity shop in the town nearby & got some great stuff including a French Connection purse as new for £4 & a Sophie Allport bone china trinket dish for £2.50 (actually just opened the box & it’s a teapot shaped teabag holder. Super cute). Nice cuppa & chat with DM this afternoon. I got home about half an hour ago & am enjoying a glass of Aldi’s Zerozecco. So lovely that it’s still light at this time. Two of the rabbits are amongst the narcissi - I love sitting at the kitchen table, watching them through the French windows. Once I’ve chilled for a bit, I’ll empty the dishwasher & might clean the loo. DH has said he’ll hoover.

Really bloody lovely thanks. Yours sounds good too if we skim past the loo cleaning… You’ve just reminded me that the French connection near my office closed last week but I bought a jumper before it did and it’s still in the bag in my car!
had a swim in the sunshine this morning (freezing but wonderful), came home to warm up in a hot shower then took the 2dc that were home out for breakfast. Dh declined as wanted to crack on in the garden. Got home and in-laws were just stopping by to return a tool to Dh, they stopped for a cuppa. Then I took the dc up to see my mum and Dh started on dinner.
got home and had a nice walk to make the most of the sun with the eldest who’s going back to uni tonight.
just about to have dinner and then may light the fire and lie in front of it with my book and electric blanket.
Perfect Sunday (aside from the fact that the other dc was working, we do enough stuff with dh so none of us missed him doing garden stuff and cooking today 😂).

That sounds like a lovely afternoon, op

I decided to clear out a whole bunch of my old clothes. Doing so has somehow made me ill, I think its the dust 😟

So now I've made dd a bowl of chicken nuggets, big bottle of squash and some sweeties and climbed into bed.

Shes got the tablet and I've got friends on the tv and I'm laying down feeling sorry for myself 😭 x

This morning was the usual catch up on washing, food shopping, get petrol 😴Got myself some daffodils though.

This afternoon was nice. The sun was out and, as DS1 is entering a photography competition, I took him out to take some more photos. Lovely walk by a lake while he took his pictures. Then back home for popcorn and watching a film with DS2. Just about the cook some dinner and then read my book.
