Perimenopause and ovulation

I think I am going through perimenopause, in my mid 40's and I'm experiencing awful ovulation pain for the first time.

I never used to feel this but every month without fail I feel utterly wiped out and then have stabbing pains in one of my ovaries.

Is this normal or should I do something about it? It's honestly worse than actual period pain Confused

it's the last attempt from your body to push out those eggs. I still get them at 52 but I am on HRT.

I'm 47 and havd been having mid month ovulation pain for a few years now. And I feel like crap with it too.
