What first-world problem would you solve?

(Light-hearted moan)
I often fall asleep listening to a talking book. I never know how far I need to rewind to catch up on what I missed. If only there was an app that would detect when I've nodded off and reset the audio to that point - bliss.

What first-world problem would you fix if you could?

No smartphones.

They are so so convenient but it's changed the pace of everything. Now I have DC I look at life through her eyes and I think the slower, more present life is a thing of yesteryear.

Things like doomscrolling take away the opportunity to be so bored that maybe you use your imagination and think up something creative, or start a new project or cook a new dish... just anything.

There's usually a timer on the app - just set it to 30 minutes then you know exactly how long the maximum rewind is. If there isn't one on the app there are separate timer apps that will switch it off for you.

I would make conditioner bottles more user-friendly ....so you could actually get the conditioner out, with one hand... (looking at you Tresemme Hmm)
