Beef stroganoff.

Thanks for the thread - we all get bored with food in our house but it’s difficult to keep coming up with ideas.

Homemade cottage pie then a passion fruit cheesecake from the bakers.

An omelette with bacon, mushrooms, spinach and cream cheese. It tasted better than it looked.

Salmon filet done in air fryer with left over potatoes in skins (done in air fryer yesterday) and smashed avocado and salad.
Will use up leftover avocado tomorrow when I have it on toast with poached eggs.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 27/02/2025 21:02

Scrambled eggs and parma ham with a rocket salad and a couple of rice cakes. I had to eat a bit late after a pilates class so I wanted something light or I'll get indigestion/acid reflux when I go to bed!

ShaunaSadeki · 27/02/2025 21:08

(MN 😂massive) salad with loads of lettuce, tomatoes, marinaded tofu, left over fried mushrooms and peppers (heated up with the tofu), humous and sriracha mayo. Glass of rosé Prosecco.

like PP came home late from an exercise class and couldn’t be bothered to cook. Prosecco was because I fancied a drink and it was in the fridge after someone brought it over a while ago, so I dragged my exercise friends back to celebrate it almost being Friday.

FedUpandEatingChocolate · 27/02/2025 21:20

Sheknowsaboutme · 27/02/2025 21:42

Avocado on sourdough and 3 poached eggs. I love eggs!

Tarkan · 27/02/2025 21:42

I'm ill so I haven't been able to eat very much at all. Rest of the family are able to fend for themselves thankfully and I ended up having the second half of a chicken tikka roll that I had started at lunchtime. It was meant to be chicken mayo but the bakery gave DD the wrong one. That's all I've eaten all day though.

RachelNoire · 27/02/2025 21:42

Steak, onion rings and a creamy spinach baked with tomatoes side dish. Spicy margarita.

liveforsummer · 27/02/2025 21:43

Run out of steam by Thursday. Me and dd1 had scrambled egg and avocado on bagels. Dd2 had spaghetti and grated cheese 😅

Giggorata · 27/02/2025 21:45

Home made game pie with redcurrant jelly and gravy, mashed potatoes cabbage and carrots.

doodleygirl · 27/02/2025 21:45

Baked beans on toast with grated cheese and a cup of tea, bread was Warburtons toast ie, of course!

Its been a really rubbish day and we needed comfort.

sanityisamyth · 27/02/2025 21:49

Pasta. Fried some bacon, mushrooms, green beans, broccoli and baby corn, then some double cream in the frying pan and reduced it down. Once pasta was cooked, stored the sauce through. Nice!

I'm very allergic to all forms of tomatoes so pasta usually has a cream based sauce.

Yorkshiregold · 27/02/2025 21:49

Turkey tacos with black beans & sweetcorn & grated cheese on top. Delicious & eaten by everyone which rarely happens.
