We tried out a Gousto recipe for the chipotle mac and cheese and it was delicious.

What did you have?

Hot-smoked salmon, brown rice and char grilled pak choi.

I'm working till 8 but we are going to have bangers mash and beans. Can't wait, haven't had it for ages.

Waiting for DH in a bar on my own with a beer. I feel about 20 years younger than I am. (Shame I don't look it).

I think I'm going to eat the entire menu by the time we get to the restaurant. Fuck knows what we are having. Don't care!

I invited DD2 and her boyfriend round for tea tonight. We had a beige buffet at their request.

Lamb balti

Used a premade sauce mix and precooked the lamb in the pressure cooker - my absolute favourite kitchen tool btw

Beef and Pork Guiso with Rice, tossed salad, chocolate cake and ice cream; so good!

Pork, red Leicester and jalapeño sausage hot dogs, red onions, spicy jalapeño relish and home made sweet potato fries

Ham, egg, chips and peas

Trout fillet, rana prawn pasta with butter and lemon, broccoli, glass of red wine. Yum. Then a handful of pistachios while I was watching telly.

Roast chicken salad sandwich (rotisserie chicken, iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado and a bit of mayo- in a bit of baguette)

Just fancied it and it was absolutely sensational 👌😂

My son made us Hot Honey and Garlic Chicken and Noodles, in the slow cooker. He saw the recipe on Facebook reels (he's not much of a cook, generally)

It was lovely, and definitely to be repeated.

Lasagne made with Linda McCartney veg mince, red pepper and green beans

Roast chicken, potatoes and parsnips, broccoli, carrots, Yorkshire puddings and gravy.

Quiche, watercress and loads of homemade potato salad with lots of dill, capers and chives. It was epic
