PMT severe? Help

I’m now 41, on a mini pill, and nearly all my life I’ve not really had periods while on the pill.
The last couple of years however, I have started to have periods, often (sorry TMI) with clotting. Not pleasant.
Anyway the most of my worry is my moods now, I’m a monster. Yesterday I exploded at DH, was really mean, then spent the day tearful. I was even driving down the road crying for no reason. It’s like im a different personality for a few days. Tired, nasty and anxious. I’ve recently stopped drinking alcohol (since Jan) and trying to be healthy with yoga, taking B12 and vitamins etc…and it’s worse than ever. I’m slim, very physically active normally, I do have type 1 diabetes.
Anyone help with what I can try next, is there anything you can do?

No help but following. I've tried various things like St John's wort, menopace, ashwsganda, progesterone cream. To no avail. I'm still a monster

Go and see your GP about whether you're heading towards perimenopause. You can get some blood tests to check your hormones and vitamin levels and they'll go from there.

@Reallytiredme if you don't know what the issue is you can't fix it. I was in your position a while ago and thought it was one thing, went to the GP and ended up with a totally different diagnosis altogether 🙈
