One night stand with colleague

Has anyone had a one night stand with a
close work colleague and then carried on as if it never happened?

God here it goes. This happened to me. I joined the company in June, went to a massive conference in December where over 400 employees were attending. Got talking to this one guy, we drank a lot, danced til 3/4 in the morning after the conference and ended up sleeping together as everyone had hotel rooms. Assumed he was single as he didn’t mention any partner and he’s quite young (20’s as am I)

Found out the next morning during a insta stalk he had a wife and two beautiful babies. Honestly felt and still feel sick with guilt- but he joined my team in the new year so I have to see him every week. He’s never said anything and neither have I 😬

A friend had a one stand with her immediate boss after a work function.

They never mentioned it again. They've both left the job now but meet up occasionally with a couple of other friends and get on well.

It's as if it never happened!
