La Roche Posay is usually non irritating, they've some tinted creams in their range.

If your skin is suddenly reactive I would look to see if anything in your current routine could be irritating your skin/damaging your skin barrier. Have the ingredients changed recently? A year ago my skin and eyes became very irritated and it took me a while to work out that the cleanser I had used for decades had completely changed formulation and added niacinamide. If that is not the case then you are probably right that it is hormones or stress. It could also be environmental pollution - my skin gets irritated if my daughter vapes in the house or if I go into a room where my kids have been spraying themselves with perfume. We've got an air purifier and that helps and I always open the windows in the morning. Eating a good anti- inflammatory diet helps ( particularly less sugar) and taking anti- inflammatory supplements such as MSM and Omega 3 and 6 also helps. For skincare I use QV gentle cleanser ( rinse off ) and argan oil whilst my skin recovers. Argan oil takes a while to soak in though so may not be suitable for the day/ with make up. I like it though because it's non- comedogenic. I have read good things on Mumsnet about tallow too and I'm going to try some. Many people like La Roche Pisay Cicaplast Baume and it's one of the things I tried when my skin was irritated and I think it helped to reduce the redness.

Thanks. I haven't been wearing anything but it's still bad.
