Drawing on t-shirt

What is the best pen to draw on a top with?
A normal biro? Or Sharpie or what?
It's for world book day and I've never done it before

If you are using a pen that will soak through put newspaper or a carrier bag or something in between layers so that you don't get leaky dots on the back.

Depends on what the fabric is and what effect you are going for. Biro works OK but won't be that visible. Depending on the fabric felt tips might leach and the image might be a bit fuzzy. Do a small test somewhere it won't be see like on the inside hem.

Sharpie would be best but definitely put something between it so it doesn't bleed from the front to the back of the shirt.
