How often do you give ovex?

Hey ladies!
if your primary school age kid complains about itchy bum do you immediately give ovex? Even if it happens during the day and the kid sleeps well at night? What is the common sense?

my daughter woke up at 6 and complained about it at 7am, then again at 7 pm. Both times it quickly passed. Checked her bum at night 2 times - no worms. I’m puzzled
