Craft kits for children 8+

I'm not sure where this question fits but I'm looking for a craft kit or kits as a present for a 8 year old girl. Up to £20.

I'd like to avoid the beads and bracelets/ glitter tattoo etc. "typical girl" type thing because if she's anything like my daughter she will have hundreds of similar items.

I've seen all the usual GALT kits on Amazon which are great but I wondered if anyone had purchased something recently that was a hit for their child or child's friend?

Ideally not overly messy which rules out bouncy ball/ slime making (plus we've had these and they don't always work!)
