I am the Google Queen according to my DH but sometimes it’s nice to get personal recommendations. I don’t mind veggie dishes & I have a slow cooker. DH not a fan of lamb or fish but I would still welcome recipes for both. We love Indian, Thai, Italian, Chinese (DH not so much). Thanks in advance 😊

Miguel Barclay’s One Pound Meals are great for this, I always find a good recipe.

Dhal. Onion fried off till translucent, loads of Indian spices, add tomatoes, either fresh or tinned, rinsed red lentils, stock or water. Simmer till lentils have softened and sauce has thickened, add big pile of spinach to wilt. Serve with naan or chapatti or make some yoghurt flatbread which is literally plain yoghurt and flour mixed into a dough, flattened out and dry fried till cooked through.
You can add garlic and coriander to the mix or brush with garlic butter 😋
Cheap and delicious.

Scrambled or poached eggs, creamed potatoes and a green vegetable, such as spinach or kale (steam over the potatoes).
