Sertraline night sweats

or possibly my age?
I’ve been taking Sertraline for about 8 weeks and starting to feel the positive effects of it. However; every morning at about 4am, I’m waking up covered in sweat. Now, at 52, I know that it could well be an age thing too.
Has anyone else found this on Sertraline? At the moment, I take it in the morning. Would changing the time of day that I take it make
any difference? Was just hoping that someone might have some experience of this. I I it seem to be able to sleep for about 6 hours a night anyway and could do without the early wake up sweats.

Yes! I sweat in weird places I don’t normally sweat too, but I find that eventually it passes. (Along with the dreams!!)

My DS has just started taking it 60mg and has experienced night sweats. All be it occasionally. He does say he is feeling the benefits gradually though. He takes his at night currently. The doctor suggested taking it in the morning if it continued.

Yes this is happening to me too. Started on sertraline in January.

it’s gross and I am sick of all the washing. But my anxiety is much better so will keep taking it .

it seems to be a common side effect. General advice brushed cotton pjs to soak it up .
mattess protector,

let me know if you solve it !

Yes!! I find that I’m waking up with sweaty legs!! What’s that about?
I exercise quite a bit and my legs don’t sweat then.
