farringdon - quiet catch up?

Hi, I'm looking for somewhere near to the station where I can meet up with a friend for a coffee and catch up - midweek

Any ideas, anyone? I'm unfamiliar with the area.

Liba is fabulous - their cakes are divine. About a 3 min walk from the station.

Thanks for the recommendation @IDontLikePinaColadas - we went along today and I have to agree with you, the cakes are divine! So devine that i had to buy some to bring home🙈😇.

What a charming little gem of a patisserie to find - they were so accommodating - I emailed ahead and they kindly reserved a table for me.

Oh I’m so glad! Enjoy those cakes - I’m rather jealous now. Might have to pop up myself….
