DH went to throw away these chicken carcasses and I found myself squawking “there’s two meals on those bones!”

Bigot!

Whenever I cook a meal for my parents my mum likes to survey the leftover chicken leg, one potato, four carrots, a spoonful of swede and a Yorkshire pudding and say,

”Gosh, there’s enough left for your dinner tomorrow.”

She may well be right. Who knows?
