Would you recommend eReaders for kids ? My niece will be turning 10 and enjoys reading, and my sister is pondering a Kids Kindle or a Kobo (I have Kobo).

Just wondering if anyone had experience of whether they're worth it, or should they stick to paper books whilst they're kids?

They will not consider an iPad (understandable!)

I think a kobo is compatible with Libby so she could have downloaded library books.

I have a Kobo and love it and borrow library books on it. I would check whether you can age restrict it though as some books, even the free ones, are definitely not suitable for a 10 year old and it's harder to see what they are reading than it is with a paper book.
