Just watching Gogglebox and they're watching The apprentice and it got me thinking. Who has been fired/sacked and was it justified?!

yes, more than once
a paper round - totally not justified but i had been doing for 3 years or more and probably needed a pay rise

Once when I was 17, I worked for a franchise McDonald’s, and the proper company owned McDonald’s in town offered roles (paid more). I gave my notice to the franchise one, worked my notice so I did it all properly. The franchise owner called the McDonald’s I was starting at and got me fired because he wasn’t happy I’d left the franchise for the proper one.

Sometimes I'm surprised my current manager hasn't sacked me as I am quite outspoken sometimes on her shit management ! I think they are too short staffed to sack me to be honest !

Yes I was, and no it wasn't from a work perspective - but I had walked in on the bosses having a row one day (married to each other) but needed supplies from the room they were in so stayed to get those and ran out as fast as possible - but was fired next day having not had any issues while working there for the previous 6 months.

Not yet. I have fired someone though. The silly twat deserved it, but I bloody hated doing it.

Yep I did when I was 21. Worked in telesales with a lot of pervy bosses , they were vile . Anyone new that started I would tell them how awful it was and they should look for another job asap. Little did I know they had bugged my desk ! They made me listen to myself then told me to leave . These days they would have been taken to a tribunal .

Twice, first time was fair enough, l was young and stupid. Second time l was totally screwed over by company trying to blame me for something l didn't do. In hindsight l should have fought it l'd been there 7 years, but l got another job within a week so l let it go, l regret that now.

Yes. The boutique I’d worked in for a couple of months had some stock stolen. I was accused of being in cahoots with shoplifters.

In reality, the manageress was having a fling and kept disappearing to a cafe down the street to meet him, leaving me on my own in a shop full of blind spots and a lot of stock.

It was difficult to say anything because the owner was besotted with the manager.
