I'm in no way religious but I think the current Pope is a good man. I hope he has a good journey.

Where is he off to now?

Sounds like end of life care.

And on a Jubilee year, too.

Seems his health has taken a turn for the worse over the last few hours.

He doesn't sound well and has deteriorated so much so quickly after reports that he was doing better, yesterday

The man is dying by the sound of it. Dying is not a journey, it's a physiological, fascinating process!

Well, the pope is catholic will believe death is part of the journey that leads us to God. I expect the poster who used the word journey believes the same and was using the word journey as a euphemism for death.

It seems likely that the pope himself would consider it a journey, so reasonable to use that term. It very much sounds like he is terminally ill. I do hope his doctors remember that thou shalt not kill yet not not strive officiously to keep alive. Safe passage.

The man is undergoing a natural physiological process called dying

I am not Catholic but I think that Pope Francis was a good Pope and I hope that his end (when it comes) is peaceful.
