Children's TV: It was a narrated story. Illustrated with drawings, but not animated as far as i recall. Narrator was a posh man with a friendly voice (Richard Briars?).
Stories featured a green alien who spoke in bleeps and bloops with the narrator translating, and his adventures with a little boy.
Every episode ended with the alien speaking, and the narrator would say "Bleep bloops-bloops blap-blap. Well, Really!". As a child it used to drive me nuts that I never knew what the alien had said!
Anyone else remember it? What was it called?
