foot care recommendations please

I have a crack on my heel and it feels like I'm walking on glass. Can anyone please recommend any products to use? Preferably something I can order on amazon as I can't walk to the pharmacy.

My feet are a bit gross and neglected to be honest, I do nothing to them due to having some pain and mobility issues in my shoulders and knees so it's very difficult and painful for me to reach them, I can just about manage to cut my toenails but don't do a very neat job.

If anyone has any recommendations for easy to use products to deal with the cracked heels and all over yellow-ey crustiness I would appreciate it.

Name change because this is gross and embarrassing 🙈🙁

CCS cream is excellent, and recommended by my chiropodist. If you can afford it, a chiropody appointment might be useful. Choose one who does a proper professional job, not a cosmetic one. Mine trims toenails, removes hard skin and tidies cuticles.

A urea cream like Rescue Heel Balm – Flexitol flexitol will help initially.

I agree that an appointment with a podiatrist/chiropodist (they are the same basically) rather than a beautician will really help with paring hard skin/sorting out nails. You might find you have a fungal infection too, you'll get advice about that, too, at the appointment.

I have a podiatrist home visit every 10 weeks, a private one not NHS (hardly any around here) I pay £30 per visit and it worth every penny.

Thank you both so much for the helpful advice. I have ordered both of those suggestions!

I've sometimes considered getting a pedicure when it's too painful to reach for nail trimming but always just wait till I'm having a better pain day due to not wanting to inflict my crusty feet on someone. But I'm now going to google chiropodist and podiatrist because I think I need to get them sorted out before I get any more cracks. Every step feels like walking on broken glass so I've been walking on the toes of that foot to avoid the heel touching the ground but that is now hurting my knees and back.
