Nursery Fee Increase

Make me feel better - my nursery has increased their fees just under 10%. I can not reduce down days or hours and we get all the incentives from the government.

Please make me feel better and tell me what your nursery has increased their fees by.

The increase in wages/employer national insurance/energy has been cited as the reason why 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

In 18 months ours has gone from £68 per day to £90 per day. It’s how it is at the moment.

10% here too, yet salaries for everyone else don’t seem to be increasing and we’re all facing our own rises in energy bills and weekly food shop etc.

Same, just under 10%. It's just over a 40% increase in the last 4 years.

I'm counting down the years to not having nursery bills. 2 years left. Ours have increased aswell.

MissRachelismycoparent · 11/03/2025 13:43

Ours have gone up 25.5% this year with only 2 weeks notice. It's probably the difference between me working and not. An extra £300 a month to find. I'm gutted
