Are these BIAB nails acceptable/standard?

I posted at the start of the month about my BIAB nails (previously had gels, but they weee chipping within a week so I wanted an alternative) www.mumsnet.com/talk/_chat/5269943-whats-happening-with-my-biab-nails?reply=141999863]]

They’re three weeks old now, and I can see that one has cracked and another has sort of come off in patches.

Ive never had BIAB before. Is this standard? I wanted something really long lasting (I know I need infills), but they’re not lasting as long as lots of other people get out of their gels.

I can’t really see clearly from the pictures to be honest.

My BIABs last pretty much indefinitely, apart from the obvious growth.

I think it can depend on your nails though, as well as products and technique. If you struggled with normal gels not lasting, then you might have a shorter than usual life on BIABs.

Have you tried different nail techs? Some places are better than others and it can take a bit of trial and error to find a tech and product range that you’re happy with.

I have biab and they last no longer than 3 weeks. My friends last perfectly (obviously apart from growth) for 6+ weeks. We use the same nail tech. I think it all depends on your nails.

I’m lucky to get 3 weeks with BIAB. With gel i rarely got 10 days. Pretty much one would have gone or nail snapped so I do get a little longer with BIAB but still suffer from chips etc by the end of the 3 weeks.

My daughter easily 3-4 weeks without a chip or mark on her BIAB. (Apart from regrowing)

Annoying no idea but guessing it’s my rubbish nails which is why I prefer to have BIAB regardless!
