The whole team are hugely up against it working on a project for go-live in 8 weeks. The project is very behind. I have not been involved with the project, despite asking to be many times and offering my help and support. Instead I have continued with the every day work. Around 80% of the team have been involved with the project.
I have nothing to do today. The everyday work is slow, very slow and today there is nothing. I feel guilty that most of the team are working very long hours for the project, yet here I am typing on MN. I have offered my help multiple times, only to be told that management will give me a shout if I am needed. I still offer help, I am still told I am not needed. I don't believe I am not needed in a bad way. I know the work involved with the project and I have 25+ years of the skills and knowledge.
