Recommendations for Excellent UK products

wheretoyougonow · 20/02/2025 20:17

I would like to buy and support more products that are made in the UK.
This is a thread for anyone wanting to share excellent UK products that they have used. Please can we keep this thread a positive one.

My recommendations are:

Ella and Me - knickers and women's nightwear.
Odd balls - quirky male and female underwear.
The Cornish Seaweed Bath Company - shampoo that's good for premenopausal sufferers 😉
Clonakilty- best black pudding according to the eaters in this house.
Tunnocks Teacakes - no better ones

Look forward to finding new uk made product recommendations 🙂

A bit late in the season, but I can thoroughly recommend the super snuggly sheepskin house boots from Celtic - made in Cornwall from local skins. Several of their products are UK made.

wheretoyougonow · 20/02/2025 21:06

Thanks for the responses. I will definitely have a look at them. Just googled Celtic and Co and I really like their tops. I'm scared to look at the butter company as I will be soooo tempted!

I think you need to brush up on your geography on the Clonakilty front and apologise to the entirely nation of Ireland.

When you have done your penance I will add the wonderful Henry vacuum cleaner.

@ForPearlViper I do apologise - in my defence my overall geography is shocking. I'm happy to have recommendations for Irish products as well.

Thank you for the responses. I will be checking them out. Looks like my diet might be out the window though.

I am loving the variety of products.

Goodness me. Clonakilty !!!!

Always worth looking at Etsy! Lots of the candle makers/wax melt makers/diffuser makers are local (UK) and often their prices are way cheaper and their products way better than the high street stuff!

I got wax melts for Christmas (20 pack, 160burn time) for £12. In my local garden centre, the same size melts (6pack) was £8.90 😮

Other than that, I can highly recommend Miss Sparrow! https://misssparrow.com

The UK now produces more types of cheese than France and Italy so it's easy to buy British with these.
