What colour eyes?

I've just seen that someone has posted this on another thread and it made me think I'd love some feedback too! My 1 year old's eyes sometimes look green, sometimes blue and sometimes grey so when people ask me what colour they are and I say "I'm not sure" I feel like a terrible mother who doesn't ever look at her child 😂 what do you think? I've attached two in slightly different lights

Bluey-green <helpful>

It's difficult to see in that light. Can you take a picture in natural light? I would say grey.

I would also say that at that age my two had not got their final eye colour yet. Both were born with extremely dark grey eyes, nearly black and lightened over 18months.

One is now sage green one pale blue.

He’s too young for you to know for sure what colour they will be long term.

I always think with some rare exceptions most eyes fall into the blue or brown category. They may be more hazel or more grey in the case of your baby, but basically the baby has blue eyes.

Same colour as me! They were described as grey on my first passport, I normally say blue-grey. Sometimes they look green.

MaltipooMama · 20/02/2025 16:47

Yeah I agree they're definitely likely to change and form a definitive colour, my partner's (his dad's) eyes were bright blue up until he was 5 and then changed to and stayed green. I think he'll probably go a similar-ish way

They come under the blue range

crumbledown · 20/02/2025 17:22

They look very like my dd's when she was that age - blue/grey - they changed so much as she grew and are now a green/brown mix at 10

menopausalfart · 20/02/2025 17:29

I'd say blue/grey.

Iamthemoom · 20/02/2025 17:52

I'd say grey.

They look green to me
