My niece has been in and out of hospital for several weeks and I would like to get her a little gift basket with some little gifts and treats, I only have boys myself so I'm not sure what 2 year old girls like these days, I want it to be a surprise so don't want to ask sis and bro inlaw, I was thinking

Nice pyjamas and slippers
Some little pre Easter treats
Books
Soft toy of some kind

Not sure what else? I don't have a budget in mind so please share what your little girl would like xx

Tesco have great Crayola colouring sets. They're mess free, so the felt pens only colour on that paper, not walls or hands! Bluey/Peppa/paw patrol available!

I think Jellycats are also wonderful presents.

Colouring book, crayons and stickers.
Not sure mine would've been excited over pjs
Small cute cuddly toy
Small book
A puzzle
Simple craft kit

My son was in hospital a lot when a child and boredom is a big thing and attention span zero.

nice pjs / cuddle toy etc nice
drinking bottle
few nice sweets always good
colouring books
airdry clay or modelling stuff
sticker books
lacing pictures

but honestly the best things my one loved at about 2-5 age ?,
go fishing - played for hours over the edge of the bed
bubbles - bottles and bottles of bubbles
wooden buttons with lace was good on and off
learning to write books - those ones you follow the line.

think out of the box and remember a parent will have all the time in the world to play with them so can be for older children to some degree.

Play dough was a hit with DD at that age and also those colouring with water books. You sound like a lovely Auntie x
