The top 3 (Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg) are worth over $900 billion combined. They are richer than the bottom HALF of all Americans combined (170 million people). Since Trump was elected, their net worth has increased by over 20%. I wouldn't be surprised to see the worlds first trillionaire under Trump.
The world is broken. I believe that hard work should e rewarded. CEO on 1 million a year? Sure. No problem. But to allow these men to accumulate this much wealth, and pay next to no tax on it while poverty is so stark in their own backyard, is obscene.
We used to tax extreme wealth at a much higher rate. We used to tax them at up to 90% back in the '60s. It needs to happen again or else this will not end well. There will be a revolt.
