Why has Garnier suddenly become Garnière?

I didn't notice this!

To me this changes the pronunciation of the name....
Garnier = Gar-knee-A
Garnière = Gar-knee-Air

Maybe my school French is letting me down 😆

I went looking for this new spelling, but all I see is the original Garnier.
i wonder if what you saw was a fake 🤔 @Jux

@#olar#puds I'm with you on the pronunciation,

My OP is misleading. It was yhe voice-over using the Garnière pronunciation, while the spelling remained Garnier onscreen. It just annoyed me so much (probably unraesonably!).

I've seen (at least) two Garnier ads this week, and one says Garnière and the other says Garnier. Sadly I can't remember anything else about the ad. Where are you looking for them, I'll see if I can find it. I'm rather hoping that someone at the top of the company saw/heard it and jumped on the agency, made them re-record the voice and sayit right so it'll sink without trace.

Sorry, I misunderstood!!
I thought you meant they changed the spelling.

I haven't heard any ads saying the name, I usually skip ads - but I will keep an ear out now.
