Daith piercing for migraines

Has anyone who has ever suffered from migraines got a daith piercing? Any success stories? It's a bit of a shot in the dark but I'm desperate for some relief!

I have my daith pierced in each ear for migraines, it did seem to help a bit but I think it depends on the type of migraines that you’re having. - tell the piercer, as mine put it lower towards my skull because of the migraines
My thought when I got it done was that I could always take it out if it didn’t help.

Had both done, worked for a while but back to normal now unfortunately 😢.

They aren't supposed to work. I know people who think theirs are brilliant though.

Depends how much you are going to like your piercing if it doesn't help.

I knew I'd hate it so it's about the only migraine thing I never tried.

Didn't work for my friend

Although there's no scientific evidence, it definitely worked for me.

I now get visual disturbances (the start of my migraines) very rarely but they never develop into any pain. I used to get migraines every month or so.

It's really interesting hearing of people's experiences. I wonder if it's a bit of a placebo effect for those who saw improvements for a while and then it went away.

I quite like the piercing anyway but I'll try anything for some relief. I have maybe 2-3 a month and they seem to be getting more intense and lasting longer.
