Full and Part time working - Opinions??

I normally work 3.5 days and get the appropriate annual leave (17 days). I am a Sole Trader so recognise its fairly unusual to get annual leave paid.

For the last six months I have been working full time - should my leave entitlement be increased for those months when I have been working full time.

It probably equates to four days extra? Work for a small company and the full time working shouldnt have gone on as long as it has but we had an unexpected project that needed extra resource. Directors almost definitely havent thought about it and I keep my own leave card which is never questioned.

Full time working will be coming to an end in the next few weeks though so it should be a one off situation.

Any thoughts on this please?

It should in theory. As you be under the statutory minimum of 28 days (pro rated for how long you are doing full time)

I do 1 day then charge overtime. Often a lot. I should in theory also get extra holiday but I barely use the allowance I have. In one days you could charge 12% on your rate to be holiday pay but i don't think that's allowed now.

Also if they calculate say a bonus on your "normal" pay that may be unfair/a bad deal for you.

Worth discussing with your manager.
