People who know Leeds- where to take kids to eat?

Going tomorrow with DC (6 and 8) to the armouries and then for a potter and some food- where shall we go? They aren’t fussy and we’d rather something local/independent rather than a chain! Thank you 😊

You could take them to the Market Hall where there's a selection of street food vendors to choose from (fish and chips, Indian, pizza, Yorkshire Pudding wraps etc). Not far from the Armouries.

There's also a similar set up at Trinity Kitchen in the big Trinity Centre. There's some permanent counters (Vietnamese, Burrittos, Gyros and Pizza) plus also a selection of vans that changes every few weeks.

But thinking about it, while the food is good, and there is seating, its not a 'restaurant' experience if that's what you're looking for.
