Going tomorrow with DC (6 and 8) to the armouries and then for a potter and some food- where shall we go? They aren’t fussy and we’d rather something local/independent rather than a chain! Thank you 😊

You could take them to the Market Hall where there's a selection of street food vendors to choose from (fish and chips, Indian, pizza, Yorkshire Pudding wraps etc). Not far from the Armouries.

There's also a similar set up at Trinity Kitchen in the big Trinity Centre. There's some permanent counters (Vietnamese, Burrittos, Gyros and Pizza) plus also a selection of vans that changes every few weeks.

Yes, the market is great and good value!

But thinking about it, while the food is good, and there is seating, its not a 'restaurant' experience if that's what you're looking for.
