Best contact lenses

I am going to try contact lenses again after a ten year hiatus.

I've had an eye test and know the prescription but don't want to subscribe so am going to buy when needed online.

I think I used to have acuview, are these still okay or are there more comfy ones nowadays.

I'm trying to avoid dry eyes. Thanks

I think it's very individual. I wear focus dailies or everclear elite from vision direct. Wear daily, have done for years.

Thanks I will send for some of the ones I think I used to use and see how I get on

I just thought there might be one that everyone uses these days!

Doesn't your prescription say which ones your optician has prescribed? Mine does, I've got it in front of me here, to make sure you get the exact right fit as well as the strength.

I'm surprised your optician hasn't recommended a specific type for you.

I use Acuvue Oaysis and have no complaints.

They have. It's Specsavers and they want me to buy theirs on a monthly subscription.

I have dry eyes. I used 'Acuvue Moist one day' for many years then the optician switched me to 'Biotrue one day' (made by Bausch and Lomb) which apparently have a higher water content. I haven't had any problems.

I bought the first month's supply from the optician and then switched to buying them myself (cheaper and quicker) from either of these companies
Lenstore
VisionDirect
I'm sure there are other suppliers but these are quick and reliable.

Vision Direct will give you a list of alternatives to the specsavers ones. I always use them. I once got a faulty batch and they replaced them free.

Thanks I've just ordered some from vision direct.
