Any dental people about? Ear/tooth

Slightly odd and posting here for traffic
I had toothache and went to the dentist. It was in one of my back 2 molars, dentist said 1 looked fine, the other had decay under a very old filling
Filling and decay removed, new one in
It's been uncomfortable still but I can't work out which tooth

Today I had a couple of hours of really bad pain everywhere, my jaw, sinuses, ear, teeth
, I took painkillers and it's eased but the pain is all in my ear?! Is it possible it's actually an ear infection and not my tooth after all

What about TMJD? That can cause toothache, ear pain, jaw pain, neck ache etc.....

I've been a night time clencher since was 12 but never had anything like this before
Have a mouthguard which I sleep in religiously

I had very similar symptoms when I had sinusitis. Do you feel painful pressure in your face too?

I’d see a pharmacist about it

A bit but only on the right side of my face

She said my throat is a bit inflamed and my right ear (the side the pain is on) is inflamed too, temp a bit high and pulse as well so on antibiotics and to see how it goes
