Just a rant really.
Baby had been up on/off since about 3am. I brought him into the bed, then back into the next to me who knows how many times. Then got out of bed before he started full on crying to walk around and settle him 3 times. We have a toddler as well and if baby starts screaming it wakes him which adds to the fun!
I woke DH and said can you take baby for a bit I need the loo and my back is sore. He sat up, I tried to hand over baby and he said 'give me a few minutes to wake up'
HUM....... I don't recall being given a few minutes each time over night! When he needs to be stopped from screaming the house down it needs to be now, not in 5 mins, not even in 20 seconds.
By the way I breastfeed hence I do all the night time and it can't be split apart from the walking bit.
Just a bit of a huff I do know exactly how hard it is being woken
