I think I need to go from 100 to 200 due to symptoms I am experiencing and I wanted to consider taking it vaginally. Is it a complete pain?

I found going from 100 to 200 doubled the side effects. In my case I went from low mood to thinking that the world would be a better place without me in it.

I think other people have a better experience than that though!

Are you taking it sequentially or continuously? I switched to the latter and my symptoms improved. 100mg. Orally.
What has helped further is upping the oestrogen!

I use them vaginally (2x100). No issues but obviouly no sex with them in. A bit of white residue by morning.

I had side effect issues when I doubled the dose, I got really dizzy and sleepy.
I have to keep to 100mgs on my nightshifts or else I look drunk (and nobody needs a drunk nurse!LOL).

An interesting read as I've just gone from 100mg to 200mg. It didn't occur to me there would be side effects. One to be aware of.

Thank you all. I am on 100 orally every single evening. It helps me sleep. @Apfelkuchen, just curious about your comment about sex as it has to be inserted every single day!! Are you saying one should wait a few hours?

I've been having side effects going from 100mg to 200mg. The main one is that I am struggling to catch my breath. The leaflet does say "difficulty breathing" is an uncommon side effect, has anyone else experienced this? I'm also feeling a bit light headed/dizzy, low level anxiety and low level hot flushes again. I'm really miserable, I was doing so well on HRT before this change.

So I am still on 100 Utrogestan. The GP said this is because I am post-menopausal and on continuous now.
She's upped the oestrogen though.
