We've just had a toad in the hole, cavalo nero, green beans and mash, with onion gravy 😋😋

Fish pie

Roast chicken with jacket potato, Cavelo Nero, sliced Runner Beans, mini corn on the cob and gravy.

Ate at 5pm so it was lunch and dinner.

Gammon, mash, swede, red cabbage, broccoli and carrots with gravy 😋

We've had steak and ale casserole with cheese dumplings, mashed potatoes, sprouts, carrots and peas, was lush!

We had slow cooker roast chicken that I marinated last night. Also made honey roasted carrots and parsnips with roast potatoes.

I made a really fast bacon and mushroom tagliatelle with ricotta through the tomato sauce. First time trying, it was really good.

Steak, cooked on steak stones at the table, mash, sweetcorn, onions and pepper sauce.

Slow oven roasted pork cooked on apples leeks and carrots with garlic, thyme and sage so the gravy was delicious, with boulangere potatoes, honey roast carrots and parsnips and steamed tenderstem broccoli

Made BLT sandwiches as had main meal at lunchtime which was fish pie.

We went out for lunch so weren't that hungry for dinner.
Everyone had various combinations of mini sausage rolls, cheese rolls, hummus, bagels, cheese, carrots, cucumber and garlicky olives...slightly healthier version of party food really.
kids had fruit/yoghurt/aldi dinosaur cereal for pudding.

Halloumi Fajitas with a side of mexican beans

Leftovers from last night.
Roast chicken, gravy, roast tatties (not enough leftover so I made mash too), green beans abs peas. DH had some tortellini instead of tatties as they needed eating. He had gravy on top....

Lasagne. It takes 4 hours but so worth it.DH picked up a baguette for 20p so we had garlic bread with it, and pan fried sweetheart cabbage with butter and sea salt.

Roast chicken, crispy chicken skin, goose fat roasties, roast parsnips, pigs in blankets, homemade Jamie Oliver stuffing, Yorkshire pudding, roast onion, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower with onion gravy 😋

The pigs in blankets and stuffing were left over from Christmas (we stocked up on pigs and the recipe for the stuffing served 10 so we portioned it up and froze the leftovers).
