Old passport not received..

Renewed DS's passport and promptly sent off his old one two weeks ago.I've just received a text reminding me to send the old one back.
I can't find the recorded delivery receipt from the post office either!
Does anyone know what i can or should do now ?

I'd phone the helpline and see what they suggest
They may tell you to report it as lost.
What age is your child? Did you have a countersignature already due to age?
