I met up with an old school friend for a drink last night. When I took my coat off and she saw my jumper she burst out laughing and said "you're a bit late, aren't you?" I didn't have a clue what she was on about and asked her what she meant. She said "those jumpers are only meant to be worn at Christmas time". What? Is she right? It wasn't like it had a picture of a Christmas tree or a reindeer on it. I wouldn't mind but I bought 3 different Fairisle jumpers in the sales this year and she's put me right off them now.
