Advice please- cars

I am rubbish with cars. I know I currently have a Citroen C1 and it’s blue. I like the colour 😂

My mum has hip issues and can’t get into my car anymore as it’s too low. I need to buy a new, higher, car so she can get in and out easily.

Could just do with some tips on what to look for please?

Seems like a weird take but if you still want a small car I'd recommend trying a Fiat 500, the seating position is quite high.

My Dad had mobility issues and he found it easier to get in and out of than his Yaris.

Still miss that car, always made me smile and cost pennies to run. Once my kids are big enough to not need big car seats or a pram I'll buy one again.

Thank you!

Not a weird take, I don’t think- I love my little car. Only ever had dinky ones. Wouldn’t swap without the need- and I had considered a Yaris, so that’s also really useful to know it’s not a great choice for mobility issues.

Yaris Cross is higher and easier to get into. I would have had one, but DH doesn’t think it has enough power. That doesn’t really bother me though, but we only have one car, so it’s a compromise.

My late mother struggled to get in and out of cars. Fiat 500 however was fairly easy for her, when I hired a car for things like the Christmas holidays was ideal.

Thanks! I shall look at the Fiat 👍
