Unfortunate celebrity/public figure lookalikes

I've just realised that JD Vance is the absolute dead spit of my dad at the same age. When he's with Atlas the German Shepherd the double doppelganger effect of Vance/Atlas, our dog/dad is quite uncanny. I'm going to lie down quietly now. Has anything like this happened in your life? (Lighthearted.)

I used to work with someone nicknamed Beaker (unbeknown to him) as he resembled Beaker from the Muppets. Nice guy he was too.

Just remembered my cousin's wife who looks - around the nose and mouth - like Charlie the cabbie from Eastenders (no idea if he's still in it).

I told my mum about the resemblance just after my first time meeting her. That was probably 25 years ago and my mum says it's all she can think about every time she sees this woman. Oops.

I've been told I look like Dolores Del Rio (Mexican moviestar from 30s/40s ish). She was stunning - sadly menopause has put paid to that!

My Dad looked like Michael Landon when he was younger. These days he looks like Buddy Ebson.

Am I the only one who scrolled through hoping for photo evidence of some of these?! 😂(I know, I know, privacy etc but still...was hoping for at least one!)

My eldest DD, as a child, was always being told she looked like Felicity Kendall. I couldn't see it but lots of people used to say the same.

Nearest I've ever come to looking like someone famous (I am extraordinarily plain, with a big nose and teeth) was when a charmer of a bloke said, as I walked into a pub, "bloody hell, it's Shergar..."

My uncle also looked like Michael Landon

DP has been mistaken for Nick Cotton from Eastenders a few times and DD and her friends like to tell me I look like Eileen from Corry.

😂 well if you see Stacey from Eastenders buying a pastie up North, it's probably me.

Our friend is a double for Keir Starmer and another friend of a friend looks like David Cameron. I saw a Harold Shipman dead ringer in a fish and chip shop in Richmond, same height, features, glasses etc. There's a Pavarotti double in my parents local post office and a local upholstery shop is presided over by a south Asian Adolph Hitler double complete with tache & hairstyle. He also barks out instructions to his staff. Oh and a Norman Wisdom double often seen on local buses. Same height & expressions.
