Unfortunate celebrity/public figure lookalikes

I've just realised that JD Vance is the absolute dead spit of my dad at the same age. When he's with Atlas the German Shepherd the double doppelganger effect of Vance/Atlas, our dog/dad is quite uncanny. I'm going to lie down quietly now. Has anything like this happened in your life? (Lighthearted.)

My mum looked just like the police photo of Myra Hindley. She was horrified.

My Dad looks like John Nettles and my FIL like Morse (can't remember his name)

I once had an id photo taken where I looked like Rose West (without the glasses)

My sons old nursery nurse looked like Rose West when she had her hair done into a pixie cut.

I also had an uncle who was the spitting image of Liberace with a heavy tan.

My Dad once bumped a car in a supermarket car park and told the info desk. He got a call a week later from the police saying someone had reported it saying, 'the bloke looked like the dad from the Royle family'. He was fuming 🤣 Of course we've never let him forget it.

My lovely Dad was a dead ringer for Cary Grant. Drove Mum mad, he got SO much attention from women 😂

My dad looked like George Raft, one for the oldies here! (Clue: he played a baddie in Some Like it Hot)

I swear I'm not trying to be a sicko, but you know the very well known picture of Fred West, wearing a wooly jumper? He looks extremely disconcertingly similar to my Dad in that pic. Like really similar. My Dad passed away around the same time as the West trial so it made it seem all the more weird to me!
Thankfully my dad was an absolutely lovely man. But it was strange the way I didn't find West's appearance in that picture scary or creepy as it resembled him so much. Which kind of made me feel internally guilty for not being 'scared enough' of West, visually at least.

My sister is absolutely gorgeous, but she looks a lot like Finn Wolfhard (Mike from Stranger Things)

I looked like her in my old driving licence photo. I think it was mainly the haircut and colour I had at the time, but I hated that photo for that reason and couldn’t wait for it to expire!

Oh, and DP is an absolute dead ringer for Teddy Swims! The face, the beard, everything apart from the facial tattoos and flamboyant dress sense.

I had all my hair cut off and switched to contact lenses when I realised my blonde fringe and glasses made me look exactly like Dana Carvey in Wayne’s World.

My father looked very like Magnus Magnusson in his later years and my DS looks just like Andy Murray and gets really sick of people pointing it out! He’s even got the same wiry hair, cheekbones and build - but not the tennis skills!

The local FB page had a post last week saying there was an Ed Sheeran lookalike wandering round Framlingham. 3 things...

1. They called Fram a village. They were soon told its a town!!
2. Ed doesn't live in Fram..
3. Ed is in India at the moment!

When I was little, in the 70s, I used to be told I looked like a (then popular) French singer Mireille Mathieu. I had the same god awful haircut. Weirdly, I look nothing like that now and my hair gone dark blond (used to be brunette when I was little).

When Jon Richardson was in his 20's, he reminded me of photos of my dad at the same age. Which was odd, because when he was in his 40s, my dad looked a bit like Bergerac

Before the whole looking like JD Vance thing I always used to think that my mum and dad used to look like Ray Liotta and Lorraine Bracco in the famous Goodfellas tracking shot scene.
