Any use for a school's worth of second hand uniform?

Our prep school is closing. There is therefore a whole school's worth of second hand uniform with no use. Are there any charities that would find such a bulk donation valuable?

Its non-standard uniform so wouldn't be used by local schools

Thanks all. No real generic items. Ages - Nursery to Year 6. (This is outing...) Navy cord dresses/trousers/shorts, checked shirts, patterned dresses. Discreet logo on polo shirts/jumpers etc.

I do take the point that if shipping is expensive, is it morally right to pay money to ship and use those resources etc when actually the same cost could buy new uniform in an African country? (The charity says this too.)

It often decimates the local textiles industry too, and the knock on effects to families. I can’t speak for the whole continent but grew up in Tanzania and there are so many women supporting their families by making the school jumpers and shirts, when stuff bulk gets donated it really messes up those families. Obviously doesn’t help you in this situation trying to get rid, but it is always far better to donate to charities that support local textile workers than to send old uniforms

@Kapal - thank you. Very valid points and I agree. I just hate to see good clothing (that cost an effing fortune) going to waste. I will look for local options.
